Commis Chef Year 2 Product Development Showcase @ Naas Racecourse
KWETB & BIFE staff had the pleasure of attending a product development testing by our 2nd-year commis-chef apprentices in Naas Racecourse on March 20th!
The apprentices showcased their creativity, reinventing classic recipes & developing new flavours. Visitors sampled & rated their dishes, giving valuable feedback on taste, packaging & pricing.

Influencer Ben Brown MASTERCLASS!
Kildare Wicklow Education and Training Board (KWETB) were delighted to welcome social media influencer Ben Brown who provided masterclasses to our National Hairdressing Apprentices and salon's in the Kildare and Wicklow Region.
The event was a triumphant success with Ben offered expert tips to both established and aspiring hairdressers!

We loved catching up with our past learner, Aisling O'Toole, at Kildare's Big Business Show yesterday! Aisling completed our Pastry, Baking, and Desserts course and is also an award-winning supplier of brown bread at Dunnes Stores. She’s just launched a brand-new protein loaf—how amazing is that?

National Hairdressing Apprenticeship Capstone Event 2024
Kildare Wicklow Education and Training Board (KWETB) celebrated the apprentices from our National Hairdressing Apprenticeship Program with a glitzy capstone event held in Naas, Co. Kildare.
The showcasing of creativity and flair for hairdressing was outstanding, with inspiration for their creations drawn for the apprentices own experiences and interests.

Kieran Clifford - Bakery Traineeship Learner
Kieran Clifford started her own business after completing our Bakery Traineeship programme. Kieran, an Irish/American who spotted a gap in the market in Ireland for traditional American style bagels and started her own micro-bakery to cater for this demand.

This company placed many of their staff on ILM (Institute of Leadership and Management) courses to address key skills gaps identified within their organisation. They had a very positive CPD experience and an overall positive impact on their business.
